I've fallen hard for vintage, once again. I'm feeling like my teenage self, rocking oversized vintage sweatshirts without a care in the world. My teenage uniform was secondhand knits and sweats with skin tight leggings. I've now ditched the leggings but still have a soft spot for the thrifted jumpers. I'm really enjoying my slightly more grown up approach to vintage and I thought I would share how I'm styling my favourite thrifted pieces at the moment.
I got this amazing turquoise sweatshirt from Goldsmiths Vintage on Charing Cross Road. They have an amazing bargain basement where every item is a mere £12.95. If your prepared for a rummage this is your place.
I'm loving anything with a statement collar, so I thought this shirt from eBay would be perfect peaking out from under the sweatshirt. It definitely gives little prairie girl vibes but I'm rather enjoying it and am just going with it.
I then decided to pair it with these amazing Rixo kick flare trousers that I got from TK Maxx. I like how it feels like a slightly more polished look with these satin trousers. I feel like I have upped my game from my leggings and graduated to a slightly more sophisticated look. I like how I can wear the same kind of pieces I used to wear but restyle them in a whole new way.
